Ayush Badoni had an excellent start as Delhi’s captain in their Ranji Trophy match against Jharkhand. On Day 3, Badoni scored an unbeaten 116 runs off 144 balls, helping Delhi reach 238 for five in response to Jharkhand’s first innings total of 382. His knock, which included 11 fours and four sixes, kept Delhi in the game, though they still trail by 144 runs with five wickets remaining.
Delhi’s top-order had a tough time. Anuj Rawat made 50, but the rest of the batters, including Himmat Singh, struggled. Himmat got out for a duck again, continuing his poor form. At one point, Delhi was 98 for four, and it looked like they might collapse. Badoni moved up to number four and played aggressively to save the innings.
